Been so long since I last blogged, but I’m proud to say I’ve been living my life the way I want it to be. Honestly, my term results aren’t all that amazing besides for GP and Econs, and i’m starting to think it’s impossible to get an A for history and CSE hahaha. Still, I’m just gonna do what I have to and let nature takes its course.
Remember the Essay writing competition organised by the Economic Society of Singapore? I was so undecided back then because I only had a month to work on it, but I honestly have to thank Guan Wei for his encouragement. It was what kept me going and motivated enough to keep all the negative thoughts at bay. Of course, Joel and my sis pushed me on too hahaha. Glad to have them in my life.
Anyway, I WON FIRST PRIZE! Which earns me $3000 for writing one essay. Wow. Imagine my shock when I saw the email. And I get to meet Mr Lee Hsien Loong! How cool is that. Thing is, I’ll have to make sure I sound smart and don’t make an ass out of myself infront of all these important people. I think I’ll be fine……
Really praying hard that I do well for A levels. I’ll do what I can, and let God work his magic.
2012 is a terrible year.
It’s only been the first semester but I’ve had the most run-ins with teachers this year than I’ve ever, ever had in my entire life. Why do things always come crashing down when it’s the most important year? Getting so wary of going to school now cause there’s almost nothing to look forward to. Guess I can only blame my rebellious self for not wanting to follow the Orwellian rules the school have in place.
Anyway, my sis never fails to amaze me.
Hurts like a bitch.
Feeling home sick when I’m at home. Cause there’s forever no one home.
‘Sides that, life’s pretty good. I mean, I’ve tons of books waiting to be read! Life can’t get any better than this really.

Even though no one even knows about this blog. Okay, besides 2 people who probably don’t visit anymore.
Still, I feel too exposed, too vulnerable typing my (somewhat depressing) thoughts out here.
So I’m gonna go torture my guitar some more.
Hmm i need some of these now.
And maybe a cup of hot chocolate to stop my heart from freezing.
I need this stillness in my life today.
